You don't have to spend a fortune on that perfect gift for someone. Birthdays, Christmas, Easter or any occasion that calls for gift giving can be a little less stressful if you're not worried about the money you're spending but still want to give a quality gift- especially one from the heart.Hit the Dollar Stores! They are everywhere and you can find good deals on things that will cost you more at the mega-stores. A lot of times it's the same quality, only for a cheaper price!
Here are some ideas for great gifts, most of which will cost you under $10!
.Gourmet coffee packets inside a coffee cup. You can pick out sample gourmet coffees at many stores. Pick up a coffee cup for a dollar at the dollar store!
.A journal. You can hit the dollar store and find a nice journal (yes, they do sell nice journals!) and put a nice saying or personalized entry on the first page. Add some quality pens and/or pencils with it, or even gel pens for something a little different.
.Tea. Along the same lines as the gourmet coffee, you can find tea samples at many stores or supermarkets. Pick up another cup at the dollar store!
.Mix in a jar. Pick up a nice jar, with cover and make a brownie, cookie or hot cocoa mix and put inside. Recipes are floating all over the internet and they are easy and cheap to make.
.Chocolate. Who doesn't like a little chocolate in their life? Spend a little and get a good quality chocolate, wrap it up with a pretty bow or ribbon and they'll love it!
.Gloves and seeds. For the gardener in your life, pick up a pair of gardening gloves, a flowerpot and some seeds. You can make your own little gardening "basket" using the flowerpot as a basket instead!
.Photo Album. Yes, the dollar store again! You can find a great photo album and decorate it yourself to make it more personalized. Add an inscription in the front to make it even more personal!
.Note cards and stamps. You can find pretty note cards or stationary at the Dollar store. Add a book of stamps to make it easy for your receiver to mail out!
.Muffin pans and muffin mix. Back to the Dollar Store to pick up a muffin tin. Add some boxes of pre-made muffin mix.
