Date of Interview: 3-17-07SM- Give us a quick background check. Where are you from and how did you find your way to New York?
TB- I'm from Vancouver, Island B.C. in Canada. In a nutshell.... came to New York expecting to visit someone that I had met in Vancouver and ended up having my wallet stolen 2 days before 911...I was kind of marooned, and ended up getting a job and staying. I didn't really want to leave and then decided that maybe I was supposed to stay.....
SM- Well, maybe so? I love your song, Homeward Bound. What inspired you to write it?
TB- (continued from question one) Which leads me to "Homeward Bound" I just recently put two and two together that I had stolen the title!!! oops...It was fall and just starting to get cold. I hate the cold. So, I was not in a very good mood. Kinda trying to figure out where I was supposed to be and what I was supposed to be doing. I've always moved around A LOT usually never staying in a place longer than a year or two. I think this was right around the time that I would normally move on (or back). My parents were traveling on a motor home for about 3 years, so my home where I grew up didn't exist anymore. It felt weird so I wrote a sob story song about it;)
SM- Again, the song is amazing! So, tell me a little about Bar 4.
