I have the words of Regina running through my head

They say "I loved you first, I loved you first."

And I think how true that is

Because you said I love you

You did, not me

But then I see you with her

Some other girl, I see the way you look at her

And I wonder did you mean it?

Mrs. Spektors words still run through my head

They say "I loved you first, I loved you first"

Like a broken record over and over again.

And I wonder why you said it,

Then you call and I don't answer

Your message says "Where are you?"

"Call me I love you bye"

Yeah right I think and decide

That you should fall off the edge of the earth

Months go by and once again

I run into you, my old boyfriend

You look at me and say "how've you been?"

I shrug and say "can't complain"

You seem sad and we make plans

But on the day we're supposed to meet

I don't go, because you see once again

Mrs. Spektor sings to me in my head

She says "I loved you first, I loved you first."

I don't think Ill see you again

And if I do I will act like I don't know you

It's too weird and we can't be friends

You told me you loved me

Then I saw you with another girl

You didn't love me did you?Nifty("div.genericSCorner","top");
