Reasons Why You Should Never Get Married

Many people today get married and often times that marriage ends in a divorce. With a divorce rate now of about 50 percent there could be reasons as to why these marriages are failing. So many people today are marrying for all the wrong reasons. Some of those reasons are an unexpected pregnancy, security and to just be taken of, wanting to get out of a parents home, and money.

When couples face an unexpected pregnancy, the guy may decide to do the right thing and marry the mother. If love isn't involved in this, then most likely this marriage will not work out. One or the other, which is involved in the relationship, will start feeling trapped. This is usually what the male ends up feeling in the relationship. Eventually resentment will set in. Harsh feelings will begin to develop and start driving the couple apart. In the end you have an innocent child that has had to deal with the negative aspects of the relationship. I have seen this happen with many of my friends today. This doesn't just happen in teenage couples, this happens at all ages. It is never good to get married because of a pregnancy.

Some women are taught that in order to have security and to be taken care of, they need to marry to achieve this. This often happens to women who are younger and are unsure of who they are. They look at maybe starting a relationship with an older man as a means to gain this security and to allow the man to take care of them. From what I have noticed in this area it doesn't work in most cases. I have seen friends who have done this and then turn around and be unhappy because their knight in shinning armour didn't live up to their standards of security. They weren't taken care of like they thought, and once they were married things went downhill. Women first should learn to gain security on their own and to take care of themselves and just be dependent on themselves. Getting married for the purpose of security is another reason not to.
