Thank-you gifts can be rather difficult, especially if you're dealing with men. It is customary to give the groomsmen gifts for helping and being a part of your wedding day; and it would be good if they receive something special and worth remembering. They have been a big part of your special day, after all, and it would just be fitting to say thank you in the most sincere way.

As the groom, being a guy and shopping for a token of appreciation for your guys is already hard all on its own. There is a wide array of groomsmen gift options that may leave you baffled. You still have to deal with your groomsmen's different personalities possibly while on a limited budget. Here are some tips on how to buy fun and elegant thank-you gifts that are well in your very own groomsmen's wish lists.

1. Think of a memorable experience. There surely are situations that you and your groomsmen have shared together and consider memorable, like a baseball game, a car crash, or an outdoor adventure. Although the moment and images seem everlasting in your thoughts, it would be best represented by an actual object. So consider having memorabilia made, like framing a small piece of an outlived accident or placing a caught home-run hit in a unique glass box. The main point is to keep the gift personal.

2. Think of your groomsmen's personality. If you somehow have a difficult time thinking of a memorable experience or an item related to it, you can think of one unique trait in each of your groomsmen, instead. If he's a basketball fanatic, buy him a completely framed NBA card of his favorite player, or if he's into camping, buy him a bait set or a travel bag. Find an item that best reminds you of him.

3. Think of your groomsmen's needs. Groomsmen's gifts may also be more functional than decorative; after all, they are still men. You may want to buy them pens, hip flasks, watches, or shaving kits, as long as they can use it. These are less personal, in a way, but you can always make the presentation unique.

Place a flip-open type card on the gift then address only by your groomsmen's first names. Write a short personalized message and also place your first name only at the bottom. Keep the message handwritten for a more personalized and caring appearance.
