Most of the older homes you'll find are on main roads in town, while some of the newer homes are found within developments.

The village of East Rochester is located roughly 7 miles east of downtown Rochester, and was first developed as a planned community for the railroads around 1900. The village is almost fully developed with older homes in a variety of styles. There is one parcel of land that is being developed for newer homes and town-homes. The village has convenient expressway access, putting you only minutes from most destinations in the area.
