Catering conundrums are part and parcel of wedding planning. You can never expect a perfectly catered wedding at any place or time. The trick is in being able to maneuver your way effectively through these catering conundrums and make guests as unaware of it as possible. There are many things that could happen when catering is being done on your wedding, but you can definitely reduce the catering conundrums to a minimum if you are well able to practice the following steps. The very first step in battling catering conundrums is to have proper planning. You need to be able to plan your food selections and amounts (according to your number of guests) prior to handing out those invitations. Planning ahead will not only help you foresee the possible catering conundrums you can experience, it can also help you see ways to improve the way you will go about the catering in your wedding reception.
Another thing to try in reducing catering conundrums is to count the cost and count the guests. A good estimate of how many people are coming and how much food is to be served will clearly depend on you. If you underestimate or overestimate your number of guests, you will be at a loss. Make sure you have RSVP signs all over the invitation so that you will be able to finalize everything properly before you march down that pretty aisle. If people will confirm if they will be attending or not and who they are going to be with, it will be so much easier for you to reduce possible catering conundrums since you have a clearcut number of guests to serve.
