A garden wedding may be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but the amount of planning it requires can be a nightmare for brides-to-be. If you're bold enough to consider having a garden wedding for yourself, here are several tips to prevent you from passing out in stress in one of the most important days in your life.Tip #1 Location, Location, Location!
There may be thousands of gardens in the city, but not all of them are appropriate or accessible for a wedding. Choosing which garden to hold your wedding in is your first priority. When looking for a suitable garden venue, make sure that you consider the following factors:
Space - The place must allow you to comfortably set up tables and chairs as well as other important facilities for the number of guests in your wedding list...and then some since you'd also have the crew there as well as the odd wedding crasher.
Cost - How much will you be able to rent it for, and can you truly afford it?
Facilities - Are there rest rooms provided? What about electrical outlets for the sound system? If none are provided, will you be able to furnish all these by yourself?
Time - If the garden venue is something that you'll rent or lease, how many days or weeks in advance are you required to make a booking? How many hours will you be allowed to use the venue?
Looks - And last but not the least, does the garden look suitably beautiful in your eyes? Does it give you that perfect wedding atmosphere or should you look for somewhere else?
Tip #2 Depending on the Weather
A garden wedding is one of those events which require you to work with Mother Nature closely. In most cases, having a wedding reception tent ready is not enough to prevent rainstorms from dampening people's spirits. To ensure that your garden wedding will be all sunlight and moonbeams, make sure that you check with the weatherman way, way before you send the invitations. This time around, choose the date not based on your preferences but on which day is likely to be the sunniest or with the clearest sky.
