Things to Do so You Can Be Punctual Again
It is very important to be on time for work. For the constant tardy people, this may seem like a hard task, and something which may not happen in the near future. The traditional ideas of buying a new alarm clock just don't seem to be any of use! Here are some different ideas on how to get on task,Changing your watch
Is the current time 8? On your watch it should be 7:30 or so. Live around this thinking that it's true, and you'll be right on-time. Sure you may have to wake up 30 minutes earlier, but remember, you'll be sleeping 30 minutes later than your usual time too! And those extra 30 minutes may just be the extra "run-to-starbucks-for-a-drink" or "watching-a-tv-episode" time you're missing. Although you've changed your watch, remember everyone else is still living in the normal time; thus, at some point, you'll have to adjust the time yourself.
Accountability
Accountability is honestly another motivation. Chances are there haven't really been any grave consequences for being late to work; however, being late really does affect how others think about you. When being late turns into a frequent problem, your boss may find that you're not accountable and reliable anymore, and you may lose your job. Keep that in mind as motivation. Who knows? Maybe it was just the kind of extra push you were looking for.
Also, keep in mind. If you are late, you're also ruining chances of getting a good resume in the future. It may also keep you from the promotion you've been aiming for!
