The Escape

On many Saturday afternoons, our family enjoys an escape into the nice shaded, well-maintained Indian Creek trails that extend for 17-miles; mostly 10 of those miles are located in the Overland Park, Kansas area. We like to park at 103rd and Metcalf, and walk across the street and venture into the trail that goes down to the creek bed. While many enjoy staying on the actual trail, we like to walk the rocky shores of the creek, collect rocks and driftwood and sit and enjoy the moving waters.
