Jones Beach Theater Adds New Shows to 2009 Summer Concert Series
As expected, the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, has added new shows to their 2009 Summer Concert Series. Here are the new updates:
July 18 - Mandela Day Concert - This festival of sorts is being hosted by Whoopi Goldberg and features such R@B acts as Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, will.I.am, and T-Pain.
August 1 - America's Most Wanted Music Festival has been added to the lineup. The show features rap artists Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, and Drake, with Lil Wayne headlining. Lil will be previewing cuts from his forthcoming album "Rebirth".
August 9 - Blink-182 has added a second show. Opening acts Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco will be replacing Taking Back Sunday and Weezer for this one.
Tickets for the Mandela Day show are on sale now at ticketmaster.com, while tickets for the other two go on sale June 20th at livenation.com.
