The Elegant Ice Creations Ice Sculpting Event takes place Friday, February 17 from 6-11 PM, and Saturday, February 18 to Monday, February 20 from 8 AM-11PM in Medina, Ohio. The ice festival will be held in conjunction with the 2nd Annual Fire and Ice Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Walk and the National High School Championship Event. The walk benefits the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society.

Ice sculptures will sparkle in the Square and adjacent streets. Warm up on a brisk 3-mile walk through Medina's Historical District. Fill your tummy with samplings of soups from local restaurants competing in the Soup Cook-Off.

Many of the carvers participating in the Professional Competition will be competing in events to qualify for the Olympics. Aaron Costic, Olympic Medalist at the Winter Olympics, received the Bronze Medal in 1998. He is the President and owner of Elegant Ice Creations, Inc.

Main Street Café will provide music and entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
