Another of of Hollywood's elite has joined the "DUI Club". This time it is 42 year-old actress Vivica Anjanetta Fox, who was arrested Tuesday night (March 20th )on the Hollywood Freeway for driving under the influence.

She was then given a sobriety test, which she did not perform to the satisfaction of the officer. Thus, she was given a breathalyzer test. And the results of that test revealed that she possessed a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent, which is the legal limit in the state of California. (Her actual blood-alcohol level has not yet been revealed.)

Per Officer Tang, Vivica Fox was arrested near Haskell Avenue and processed at the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys Jail on Tuesday night. She was not required to spend the entire night in jail. Per police reports, she was released of her own recognizance early Wednesday morning at approximately 12:31 am.

THE OUTCOME

Fox will be required to appear in court to face DUI charges. Per Los Angeles Police, that date has yet to be determined. The Associated Press has contacted Fox's manager. However, they are reluctant to provide any additional information. When questioned about the incident, a representative at her manager's office stated, "We have no comment on that."

According to Access Hollywood, an officer from the Los Angeles Police Department stated that Fox was very cooperative during the entire process. Per the department, she was released under the condition that she appear in court on a later date. During her future DUI hearing, the City Attorney's office will decide if it should proceed in charging her.
