Finding Time to Brainstorm Articles #1: Waiting Rooms
People often sit in waiting rooms doing nothing useful, but why? When you could spend this time brainstorming? Take several topic ideas with you and brainstorm as many as you can before being called back to your appointment.
Finding Time to Brainstorm Articles #2: Traffic Jams
Obviously, you can't write down your brainstorming ideas while you're in the car. Instead, use a voice recorder and brainstorm all the ideas that hit your mind. You'd be surprised at how many topics will enter you mind as well. A song on the radio may trigger an idea or you may even come up with an idea for surviving bad traffic jams.
Finding Time to Brainstorm Articles #3: While Washing Laundry
While your clothes are in the dryer, why not sit down and brainstorm a few articles? Everyday chores will bring about several different ideas. You may find yourself with several more topics to write about, as you brainstorm you current ideas. For example, you may want to review a new laundry detergent or write an article about removing stains from delicate fabrics.
Finding Time to Brainstorm Articles #4: During Commercials
Watching TV can bring up so many different ideas. So, before you forget those ideas, why not brainstorm those articles during the commercials? That way the idea is fresh on your mind and you won't forget important information.
Finding Time to Brainstorm Articles #5: In Between Classes
If you're in college, you may have time in between courses to think about articles. This is a great time to spend working, because you may have just learned something that is worth sharing with the world. If you just learned how to decorate a cake, brainstorm an article on how to create roses out of frosting.
