Have you heard of Lambert's Cafe: The Only Home of Throwed Rolls? I first visited Lambert's when I was seven years old. This was the first time we went to Gulf Shores, Alabama and trying new restaurants is our thing. We went to Lambert's Cafe: The Only Home of Throwed Rolls. We went to the restaurant located in Foley, Alabama. I have now been to Gulf Shores ten times and each time I have to go to Lambert's. They never fail me. Great food, great service and a great time.

What sets Lambert's apart from all of the other down-home cooking places is, of course, the throwed rolls. You didn't think Lambert's calls itself the only home of throwed rolls for the sake of doing so, did you? They actually throw the rolls! The waiters/waitress have pretty good arms. Can you catch? I wasn't always the best catcher. As mentioned, I first went there when I was seven. This was the time when I could still eat chicken. I had the chicken and dumplings that day--actually they had me. The guy comes out with the rolls. I throw my hands up and shout, "Over here!" He gets close and throws me the roll. I tried to catch the roll, but it slipped and hit the dumplings that, in turn, tipped over on me. Now that I am thirteen years older and have had years of practice, I am a master catcher. As evident in my last visit weeks ago. The rolls aren't just great for throwing, they are also great for eating!

The staff is great. I have been there ten years now; and every time I go, I feel like I'm seeing family again. I can't say that about many places. However, the down-home cooking, get you some more attitude of Lambert's and its staff keeps me coming back year after year.

Yes, you read right, get you some more. It is hard to find somebody who isn't full after eating at Lambert's. The servings are enormous; and the last time I went there they still had free refills on select food items.
