Michael Jackson Autopsy and the Men Behind the Man
Possible Toxicology Results Are Hotly Debated
The death of Michael Jackson is posing more questions. A scheduled autopsy on the King of Pop is to answer what brought on the sudden death of the 50 year old singer and songwriter. In light of a physical examination that Michael Jackson passed just recently for the sake of his concert tour insurer, it would make sense that his surprising death would cause at least some questions. An unintended consequence, however, is the sudden light that is being shone on the men behind the singer. The Los Angeles Times confirms that Michael Jackson's autopsy is scheduled for today, and while there are no surprises expected with respect to the artist's physical health, more than one Los Angeles news outlet is jockeying for position to be first in line when toxicology results come in. Mind you, a toxicology screen is normal procedure in the case of a sudden, unexpected death that warrants an autopsy, so why is this one so hotly debated?
Part of the mystery is the alleged disappearance (or unavailability) of one of Michael Jackson's physicians, whose car was towed from the singer's residence. According to CBS 2 News, this doctor is not under criminal investigation, but merely sought by the police to answer questions. Why would the physician - whose car was on the premises at the time of Mr. Jackson's death - not come forth readily and quickly?
A Los Angeles police spokesperson further asserts that the car was towed because it may contain meds and hinted at other evidence, which may be instrumental in shedding light on Michael Jackson's cause of death. Thus, the autopsy and also the search for evidence are potentially starting to shine some light on the men behind the man.
In a somewhat surprising twist, Dr. Tohme K. Tohme, known as one of Michael Jackson's managers, went on record with the New York Post to let the public know that he was not at the home when Michael Jackson died. Moreover, he wants it known that he was not the physician rumored to have injected a drug into the singer just before his death.
