Dandruff can be some pretty embarrassing business to deal with, and it definitely isn't something you want to go out with. It gives others the image and impression that you're not very neat and tidy, and a slob. Dandruff also prevents you from wearing one of the most loveable non-color colors - black! (I'm not quite sure whether to call black a color or not) Black is a great color to wear - especially on the ladies because it makes you slender. There are ways to solve your dandruff problem. There are many different issues which cause dandruffs. One of them is using lots of different chemicals on your scalp. Using lots of different shampoo, conditioning, or dying your hair often can do that to you. The chemicals can cause your scalp to become irritated and flake. If this is the case, cut back on the products or change it.
The next problem may be that you don't wash your hair that often. Not washing your hair can cause dandruff as well. Try washing your hair more often - once every two days is a great idea. Cleansing your hair and your scalp can get rid of the icky problem of dandruff.
Last but not least, you may experience dandruff because of the environment you're living in. If the environment is very dry, it might cause your skin to dry out. You can solve this by finding ways to humidify your house, or using a lotion for your scalp. I am aware of a couple of hair products that are designed to specifically nourish the scalp.
As well, there are plenty shampoo and conditions out there on the market nowadays that help prevent dandruff. Because there are various brands, one of them may not work on you - you may want to try a couple. No one will even notice when you use these shampoos as they smell like regular ones, and are effective.
If you really don't know what's going on, you can go see your doctor. There are doctors who deal exclusively with the scalp, and definitely will be able to help you out finding a solution for getting rid of the dandruff.
