Should you breast feed your newborn baby or bottle feed? Which one's the best choice, and will bring the most benefits for them, and you? Below we'll examine all the benefits breast feeding your baby can bring.

Building up the immune system

In the first couple of weeks, your body produces fluid called colostrums which pass on a copy of your immune system to whoever drinks it; thus, it is important that your baby is being breast fed at this moment. It lowers the chances of your baby getting ill in the near future as the colostrums builds up a stronger immune system to fight bacteria and viruses. Babies being fed with breast milk are also more likely not to get some of the sickness other babies being bottle fed may get such as ear infections.

Say No To Baby Obesity

Breast feeding you baby can prevent a syndrome called "Baby Obesity" which is often found in babies who are being bottle fed. Babies who are being breast fed will grow at a normal rate - gaining weight slowly, and then slimming down as they grow older.

Don't need sterilizing - less time

When you're breast feeding, you don't need to sterilize anything; however, if you bottle feed, you need to sterilize the bottle every time. If you think that breast feeding may take a longer time, it really may not be so considering all the time you'll have to sterilize the bottle, and feed the baby. Breast feeding is fast, and easy.

Finance

Bottle feeding your baby can cause extra thousands of dollars every year; whereas, breast feeding your baby is natural and cheap. Raising a baby will cost thousands of dollars every year. It's a smart move to save money for the future, and other purchases that may become necessary in the future.

Fewer pooping

It's true. Babies being breast fed will poop fewer stools, and their stool will stink less too. The fact that you'll have to change fewer diapers seems convincing to me.

Bonding

Mother and babies bond when breast-feeding. When a mother is breast feeding their baby, their body releases some sort of chemical which will strengthen the bond of the baby, and the mother. Breast feeding your baby will allow you to feel a stronger bond.
