The automatic time synchronization can be set to synchronize the time on the watch nightly, and handles Daylight Savings Time automatically as well.

I like the Casio Pathfinder Watch for the most part, however there are a couple of issues I have with it.
First, the alarm is almost impossible to hear. I am partially deaf in my left ear. I happen to be in the habit of wearing my watch on my left wrist. For the alarm to be of use to me, I need to wear it on my right wrist.
While some of the Casio Pathfinder Watch's outdoor features like the compass and the barometer work well, the thermometer only tells you the temperature of your wrist, unless you take it off for about twenty minutes.
