How to Get Rid of Oily Skin

Oily skin can be a nuisance- especially when you get acne problems. Oily skin can be an embarrassing problem; however, remember the phrase "what you eat is who you are"? You can get rid of oily skin by watching your own diet, and making sure you're eating healthy. You may wonder "How can what I eat affect my skin?" Your diet affects the amount of oil that goes to your skin, and oily skin gives you acne problems and clogged pores. For example, if you enjoy eating junk food, and eat lots of fries, the oil from the fries will be distributed to your body, and one of the places is your skin. Eating appropriately and healthy can avoid these problems altogether; thus, try to limit on the junk food you eat. Fries, burgers, soda, coke, ice cream, chocolate, snacks, and all those other yummy daily treats contain lots of fat. Looking back at your daily intake of these foods, and no wonder you can get oily skin!
Make a journal and record your diet for the whole week; then, examine the food you've chosen. You may be surprised at how many times you've forgotten about the fruits, and vegetables, ordered take-out, and reached for coke instead of water. If you notice that you've been consuming a lot of unhealthy food, try setting up a schedule, and preparing healthier foods. Drinking water instead of coke is a simple and easy choice. Not to mention, water basically cleans out your system from toxins, and can wash away the oil in your face. It's cleansing, doesn't taste bad, and an easy, assessable choice. Next time, you're about to order fries, and coke, consider water, with a fruit. Sweet fruits are very tasty, and healthy for your body. Plus, they'll help you get rid of the oily skin.
Try to look for a diet which has a lot of protein, and cut down on the sugar, salt and flour intake. Fruits and vegetables contain lots of minerals, and water as well; thus, the more the merrier in your diet. Beans, grain, and nuts are great as they also contain a lot of Vitamin B.
Next off, try to cut out any excess fat from your diet. Buy lean pork instead of fat ones (or remove the fat from the pork before cooking), and lay off with the oil. Vegetable oil is a better choice.
