Television star and radiant super-model Farrah Fawcett passed away on June 25, 2009.

Lee Majors recently commented on the death of his ex-wife Farrah Fawcett by saying that he and his current wife "were saddened to hear of Farrah's passing" according to OK! Magazine. Fawcett was married to Majors from 1973 until they separated in the late 1970s, per a report by The Times.

A lot of people knew about Farrah Fawcett because of her relationship with Lee Majors. Yes, she was ultra-beautiful and lifted the spirits of everyone around her. But Lee Majors was extremely popular in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. He was the idol for millions of young boys who had crazy dreams of either having bionic powers or of working as a stunt-man in Hollywood.

"The Six Million Dollar Man"

Lee Majors was just perfect in this television drama. He played Colonel Steve Austin. If you have ever watched this show then you will always remember the theme words at the introduction of every episode. It went something like, "Steve Austin, a man barely alive. We can rebuild him. Better than he was before. Better, stronger faster."

The show was great because it focused on what a lot of males want deep down and that is to have special strengths and abilities to help them get ahead in life or to defend themselves if necessary. Yes, "The Six Million Dollar Man" was about an astronaut who had to have certain body parts replaced with bionic ones. But it was more than that.

The show was exciting for males because of how he could use his bionic abilities and catch bad guys, or see up close something that was a mile away, or life up a truck with one arm. Lee Majors could do the impossible on the show and it was little surprise that he married Farrah Fawcett because that also seemed impossible.
