Where to Find Gun Training in North Carolina

Gun training is something many people are looking for these days. With the political climate leaning towards anti gun laws people want to get guns now. And if you are new to firearms it is advisable to get gun training. This can be gun safety training or training in self defense with firearms. I have put together an article about gun training in North Carolina.

In this North Carolina gun training article I will provide website links and other contact information. I will also include information on what type of gun training is offered to the customer. As a former licensed firearms dealer and NRA member I strongly advise the whole family take a gun safety course BEFORE adding guns to the home. I also advise getting a North Carolina concealed weapon's permit if you intent to go around armed.

NRA Gun Classes

The National Rifleman's Association is the best source for gun training in North Carolina or any state. They have some of the best firearms instructors in the world. Go to their webpage here for current North Carolina firearms training classes. The NRA classes take place all over North Carolina and cover different topics.

Shooters Express Firearms Academy

Shooters Express is located in Belmont North Carolina, the address is 2 Caldwell Drive and you can phone them at 704-827-2428. Shooters Express Firearms Academy offers gun training as well as sales, and a great gun range, as well as gunsmithing. It was an oversight not to include them in my North Carolina gun range article. Shooters Express in North Carolina offers various gun training classes. They have the concealed carry, a handgun class, and even a BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) class among many other's.

Defensive Concepts

Defensive Concepts is a firearms training school in Granite Quarry North Carolina, check their website here for more information. They cover everything from the Concealed Carry to various defensive hand gun classes. I am considering taking their defensive shotgun class as that is my choice for a home defense weapon. They also have a shotgun class for law enforcement as well as unarmed self defense.

Excellent resources. I might do one on gun training in Knoxville (and soon hope to be able to afford to get my C&C permit!)
