Seven AM and here I am lookiing for the missing toaster! Just another day of adventure awaits. What do I hear on the staircase giggles? The house has been filled with giggles since Mom has moved in with us. Mom's in the kitchen making turtle pancakes, oh shoot I can't even get mine round!

Not really sure who this woman is pretending to be my Mom, but she keeps the kids happy, so I think I will let her stay. She even has a hot dinner on the table before eight o'clock so I guess she is ok, but I wish she would stop hiding my stuff !

It started innocently, first the sponge was missing from the sink, then the laundry baskets, but now she has crossed the line, Where the heck is the toaster?

The laughter is getting louder, as an idea hits me ! I shout out "Reward for the Missing Toaster" More laughter and Mom humming trying to ignore me, God I hate this!

I hear little feet scrambling, fine no one tell me where the toaster is, I will find it myself! "Mom, please I want some toast," she gives me the look and turns back to her pancakes.

I get the feeling my house is no longer mine, clothes neatly folded, counters bare except for a canister set, "Canister Set" didn't even know I had one! Toys and games neatly put away, ok I guess the question is "Where are my kids?" They don't even look like mine anymore, everyone's clothes match, hair combed, faces washed all before 7:30 AM. I look around for my purse, of course its in the closet, I grab my coat and shout to the kids, " Have a great day, the reward is no longer in effect" ! With this much time to spare thanks to that unknown woman, I can stop for coffee and toast at our local coffee shop.

Hey, Mom don't forget my milk and cookies when I get home, ha, think I have the last laugh!!!

You gotta admit, no matter how old you get, there's nothing like your momma!
