Facials are what many women use to rejuvenate and clean their skin to keep it looking clear and healthy. Professional facials can be costly ranging from $60-$100 and not many of women can afford them. Luckily many
beauty stores sell products so that woman can complete their facials at home. The search for the right product can be tough with there being aisle and aisles of beauty products offered.
I just recently came across a product that is inexpensive and works nicely. It is the Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque. This Mud Pack Masque is a unique type of mud masque that is derived from the earth; it is made with natural English clay. This Masque is supposed to cleanse the pores, tighten loose and sagging skin, stimulate blood circulation, soften lines and wrinkles and relax tired face muscles, all for the cost of $5.29.
Texture
The mud masque comes in circular 12 oz. plastic container. The texture is very thick and clay colored. The scent is sweet smelling like lotion.
Review
The mud masque goes on very smoothly and because of its thick texture, does not take much to cover the entire face. It can take from 10-15 minutes to dry and another 10-15 minutes to wash off which can be a bit of a hassle if you are on the go.
The texture of the mask made it soothing to put on, but it was not so comfortable once it dried because, it not only became very tight but it seemed to crust over. Crusting over is expected with some masques. Every masque is different, most get very tight but not every mask crusts over. After about 10-15 minutes I washed the mud masque off. A towel was used because of the thickness of the mask, and removal took about 15 minutes.
Once the mask was washed off I noticed how clear and tight my face felt. My skin felt clean and rejuvenated and not too dry. I really enjoyed using the mask the only complaint I have was the thickness of the texture. The thickness of the mask made it time consuming to put on and take off, other than that it is pretty effective.
The most important thing is that the masque did not leave my face feeling dry once it was rinsed off. It actually left my face feeling very smooth.
