Viewers, before going to see this film please note that you must defy all bladder laws and get your snacks early because if you miss one minute of this film, you will be lost. If you liked, Memento, Pulp Fiction or Six Sense you will love this film. Those were probably the three hardest films I watched and in that order. This film makes number four.

This movie centers around the actions in a marriage if you knew you had one more chance to make things right regardless if you are the person who have let the passion fizzle out of your marriage or not., would you do everything humanly possible to fix it? Linda and Jim Hanson (Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon) are the ideal couple with a house, two kids and a solid marriage. However, the problem is that they let their marriage get to the safe point. Not Good!!!!! You can not let your marriage get in a routine or you become roommates instead of life partners.

Linda gets the dreaded visit from the police saying her husband died in a car accident and has to break this horrible news to her two little daughters. She is a housewife and her family is her universe but then she cries herself to sleep only to wake and see her husband is not dead.

Now, here is where it gets interesting.

She sees her husband downstairs getting ready for work and thinks maybe she just had a terrible dream and then goes on throughout her daily routine of dropping off the kids and doing house chores only to be reminded that this is exactly what happens in the dream before she gets the bad news. Now she double checks to see if she talked to her best friend Annie (Nia Long) and reconfirms some of their conversation which doesn't help her sort things at all. She lets it ride, decides to sleep it off, but only to wake up and see everyone downstairs dressed to go to her husband's funeral?

Sidebar, you must pay attention to all the clues in order to determine what day of the week it is so you can understand why Linda does what she does but it takes you three days in the film to figure it out. The first day is Thursday. The second day is Wednesday. The third day is Saturday. The fourth day is Tuesday. The fifth day is Sunday. The sixth day is 'Doom's Day"-Wednesday.

I haven't seen the movie so I can't comment, but I must say the poster for this movie is one the coolest in recent years.
