.) Do Ask About a Player's Card - Most casinos have a card that gives their players some benefits for using the casino. The card is usually free and it requires only a minute or two to register. These cards accumulate points as you play and those points can be used for various complimentary items at the casino. These items might include free meals, cash, discounts for hotel rooms, event tickets, or merchandise from the casino.
.) Don't Play Over Your Limit - Before you even cross the threshold of a casino, you should have in mind just how much you are willing and able to spend. After all, you don't want to find yourself without grocery money in the morning. Once you reach that limit, no matter what, stop playing.
.) Do Ask Questions - If you are unsure how a slot machine or table game works, don't be embarrassed to ask questions. There is no reason to lose money because you didn't understand the game. There are many attendants and players in the casino that do understand and will be happy to help you.
.) Don't Forget to Check Online - Before leaving home, take a few minutes and look on the casino website. There are often times promotional coupons that can only be found online. Even if there are no deals to be found, it is a good place to learn about the games and the rules of the casino.
.) Do Carry Change and Dollar Bills - In most casinos, complimentary beverages are served, but the wait staff is usually expecting a small tip. It can be embarrassing to be the only one in a line of people that does not tip when a drink is brought to them.
.) Don't Ignore Entertainment Options - Many casinos have free live entertainment especially on weekends and evenings. It can be nice to take a break from gaming for awhile and enjoy some music or comedy. A second bonus is that while you are sitting there, you aren't spending any money.
