Why Family is Important

Family is a very important part of life. You are born into one, when your old enough you will start your own, and when your time come you will leave one behind.

My family may not be the typical family, and I may have some crazy relatives, but they all mean well, and they are important to me. Whether I like it or not, I was born into my family, and they are who they are. In their own way, each of them are special, and they each hold a place in my heart.

When I was in my rebellious stage, my family hated what I was doing with my life, but they still cared enough to try to help me, and they never stopped loving me. I've gone through some really bad times in my life, and my family was always right there with me, through thick and thin.

I used to hate when my family would be in my business and need to know my every move, but they were only doing it becasue they cared. I feel sorry for those who dont have families who love them, and completly shut them out of their lives for a mistake they've made. Mistakes are going to be made, it is a part of life, and it is no reason to stop caring for a family member.

I used to think that family was just family, that it wasnt really important. But as I got older, and I got a lot of help from my family, I realized that they are important and I wouldnt have gotten very far without them. They were my shoulder to cry on when I needed them, and they were always my helping hand.

I moved in with my sister a few weeks ago after leaving an abusive relationship, and I never realized how important she was to me. It wasnt just her that brightened my life, but her son and daughter as well. My neice and nephew are a big part of my life, and my son's as well. They love playing together, and now my sister and I can watch them grow together.

My parents were always there for me too, even when they didnt want to be. There was a time when all I did was argue with them, and I thought they were always wrong. In the long run, they were always right, and they never had to say "I told you so."
