Educational Philosophy

Introduction:

I believe that children are the key to the future and without teachers providing as many doors to unlock as possible, our future as a whole will not progress or improve. All children are capable of learning, and it is us as teachers who must find that right path and that right door for each student to get through and find success. English is the foundation of everything in life. Ideas, changes, and improvements start with communication, which means that children need to be able to know how to communicate their knowledge in order for them to get anywhere in life. By combining Direct Instruction theories as well as constructivist theories I believe that I will be able to reach a great number of students. It is not the students who need to adjust to the teacher it is the teacher who needs to adjust to each individual student in order to have success. I will be implementing as many different instructional techniques as it takes to improve and better the learning of each of my students.
