Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards Sued

Two freelance photographers are suing Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards, saying that Richards assaulted them when they tried to take per picture and that the women lied about the alleged scuffle.

According to the lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, celebrity pals Anderson and Richards were at the River Rock Casino Resort in British Columbia, Canada, on Nov. 9, 2006 to work on the upcoming film "Blonde and Blonder."

"She pushed and hit both Fedyck and Cosman, snatched their laptop computers from their hands, and threw them over the balcony with total disregard for ... other guests, including an elderly woman in a wheelchair who was struck by one of the falling computers," the lawsuit says.

When Richards saw the photographers, Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck, taking her picture, according to the lawsuit, she became enraged and called them "paparazzi scum" among other names. She then assaulted them, took their laptop computers from their hands, and threw the laptops over the hotel balcony.

The photographers say that one of the computers struck an elderly woman in a wheelchair.

They also claim that Richards called them "f---ing c---sucker at least 12-15 times as well as scumbags, douche bags and paparazzi scum."

The confrontation was recorded by hotel security cameras and lasted for more than 20 minutes according to the two photographers.

Canadian police investigated the incident and decided "wasn't in the best public interest to bring criminal charges" against Richards.

Anderson and Richards were arrested and held by Canadian authorities for about three days.

Denise Richards did admit that she threw a computer at the photographers. She later said her actions were a mistake and that she was wrong. Anderson, however, did not seem remorseful for what happened in the incident. She defended Richards by saying that the filming of "Blond and Blonder" was covered with rude paparazzi.

She wrote in her blog that "If it were me I would've thrown the photographers over the edge ­ they got lucky."
