Check out newspapers, books, reviews, critiques, magazines for the last twenty five years and you are unlikely to find any woman named more frequently than Hillary Rodham Clinton . There are books for her and against her; books that extol her virtues and some that castigate her for her faults. Some articles center on Hillary the mother, the wife, the attorney, the First Lady or the U. S. Senator. There is little chance that any other woman in the United States or abroad has been so examined or dissected. Occasionally its worthwhile to reduce the word products to simply consider what everyone should know about Hillary Clinton.

Raised in the Middle As much as anyone could be, Hillary Rodham was raised pretty much in the middle. She was born into a middle class family which was supported by a dad who sold curtains for a living and knew the value of a dollar. She was also born geographically more in the center of the country and away from the two coasts in the town of Park Ridge Illinois. Hillary grew up in a very typical suburban town in which as she recalls today, people left their doors unlocked and neighborhood kids played together. Like many young girls, Hillary was a Brownie and then a Girl Scout and spent lots of time in her church youth group. As a young person growing up, Hillary had lots of practice being a very normal American.

Education But Hillary proved to be above average in terms of intellect and personal drive so much so that she was admitted to Wellesley College, at the time an elite girls college just outside of Boston. There she thrived and at her graduation was chosen as the first student commencement speaker the school had ever had. Yale Law school was next.

Takeaways
  • hIllary Clinton showed her sholarly ability at both Wellesley College and Yale Law School.
  • Hillary, as an attorney, First Lady and Senator has concentrated on families and children.
  • Hillary Clinton became a U. S. Senator on her own merit not because of her husband.
Did You Know?
When Hillary Clinton was re-elected to the U. S. Senate she won a whopping 67% of the vote.

I think the United States as a whole needs someone like Hillary Clinton to be President. For sure whoever is elected to the oval office will not be able to clean up after Bush in a short period of time, but you take someone who can withstand all the nasty things that people have said against not only Hillary but Bill as well and that tells me that Hillary can clean house and not bat an eye in doing it. She would make a good President and Diplomatic leader as well. If all those who have thrown stones at the Clinton's in the past would look at all the former Presidents who did stupid things, then the Clinton's are not that bad. Remember JFK and his sordid affair with Marilyn Monroe? Well I do as well as other Presidents that were in the lime light in a negative way. Hillary needs to show her warmth , do not let her campaign people say nasty things about Obama and stick to her wants for America to help us become a stronger Nation and to make peace with all those who Bush has ticked off. Hillary should be the first female president ! Like Angela Merckel in Germany, who is doing so well. With female intuition and international experience, a woman is the best one to diplomatically handle worldleaders like Putin etc. In important matters Merckel takes the lead in the European Union. Hillary should do the same in the world to give the US back the respect of the world.

I believe that Hillary Clinton will make a wonderful candidate for president in the year 2008. She seems like she knows what she is doing, where she is going and the Americans need and who they need to see as president. She sure seems to have her head on her shoulders. Thank-you for everything. I follow you on T.V. and hope to see you in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Thank-you again.
