This museum is located on the sixth floor, where a sniper’s nest and rifle, thought to have been Lee Harvey Oswald’s, were found following the assassination. Visitors here will have the opportunity to view official documents, writings, pictures, films and news coverage of the fateful day in Dallas. The Dallas Museum of Art, located at 1717 North Harwood, in Dallas’ Arts District, offers visitors a casual atmosphere where they can enjoy beautiful art such as paintings, sculptures and decorative arts set in different periods.
