Graffiti, is it art or vandalism? Many people consider graffiti an act of vandalism without ever considering the art form. Since the beginning of time people have written on walls. You can find graffiti in every culture worldwide just look at the ancient writing on the walls that is a form of graffiti. One of the world's most famous graffiti crews is the TATS CRU. The mural kings of New York City, many of their murals are showcased in public schools, hospitals and Bet's 106 and Park graffiti "Hall of Fame!" Dondi and KR are just two graffiti writers that advance the art form and have printed work in museums. Donald J. White a.k.a. "Dondi" he was inspired by the work of Leonardo DaVinci and was apt to "reference" DaVinci's work amidst his own. Rest in peace "DONDI".

Graffiti artist are known as writers, if you think you can just pick up a can of spray paint and just paint a nice picture. Then your wrong, if you believe me not. Just pick up a can, a canvas and go-ahead try it, but keep it legal. Ok, the secret is can control being able to control the misty bursts of paint from the nozzle to the wall or canvas is a feat in itself. Lots of drawings in sketchbooks are needed before you can even try to paint walls. First, you must understand the basics of writings the alphabet. Every letter the same height and width known as block-style this is the key basics that every writer must know. This is known as the art of getting up. You'll need supplies to work with not just paints but inks as well. Bombing Science, is the number one shop for your custom paints, inks, nozzles, and jumbo ink pens.

Starting off, it's okay to use cheap ninety-nine cents spray paint later you'll want to upgrade to some Krylon, Rustoleum, or Montana paints. An you'll need a large about of heart to express yourself just as any other artist who paints on canvases, you just have a bigger canvas to work with that's all. Would Vincent van Gogh be considered a vandal if he had written on walls? Maybe, but he's a famous artist now so. Graffiti is about the dream of every artist "Fame" to become recognized as the hottest street artist or street crew within your city.
