A Review of Bath & Body Works' Pleasures Shower Gel: My Biggest Vice

I love shower gel. not just any shower gel, mind you... Bath & Body Works Pleasures Shower Gel. That's my favorite.

Oh my goodness, I just can't get enough of it. I write this review sitting at my computer, hair still wet from my hot shower, full of the Cucumber Melon fragrance from my Bath & Body Works Pleasures Shower Gel. I smell wonderful.

I don't know what it is about Bath & Body Works Pleasures Shower Gel that makes it so fabulous. It definitely isn't the price. At $9.50 a bottle, you can get several tubes or bottles of the stuff you can find in the drugstore, but they just don't compare to Pleasures.

It could most definitely be the lather. You just need a couple of drops on your body pouf to get an incredible, light, fragrant lather going. Just soap up your body and rinse it clean away. It's fantastic.

It could also be the variety of scents that it comes in. There are too many to name! If you like floral scents, try the Peony or Sweet Pea. More of a berry person? Get the Raspberry or Pear Berry. Maybe fruit is more your thing... You can get Cucumber Melon or Country Apple. And, you're not just limited to those! There are 26 scents, as well as limited edition scents every season.

The reason I love this shower gel could also be because of the texture. It's is absolutely perfect! It's isn't too slippery, but also not too thick. You don't need too much of it to get your desired lather or scent. The bottle of Pleasures Shower Gel lasts for at least a month's worth of showers, even if you use it every day.

The only complaint that I have about Bath & Body Works Pleasures Shower Gel is that it doesn't provide any extra moisture. (The Creamy Body Wash does, but that is another review entirely.) But, Bath & Body Works has and awesome creme and lotion variety in the Pleasures choice. You can mix and match scents, or layer the same one in different products for a stronger fragrance that lasts a long time.
