Landoll's Mohican Castle is a towered, gabbled wood and stone monument. The castle is the creation of one man, Jim Landoll. Landoll had always been fascinated with castles. He wanted a castle of his own. After selling his publishing business several years ago he built one.

Landoll's Mohican Castle can be enjoyed by anyone. There are 12 rooms in the castle for visitor's to stay in. The castle is very breathtaking and luxurious, a perfect place for a romantic get-a-way.

Landoll's Mohican Castle has heated bathroom floors, Jacuzzi tubs and in room wet bars. Visitors can enjoy intimate fireside conversations, continental breakfasts and morning walks through private forestland in beautiful and scenic perfect solitude.

You will be able to see and explore the mystery and beauty of towers, exposed beams, gothic archways and spiral staircases. The castle is surrounded by 1,100 beautiful acres.

The castle furnishings are far from medieval; rooms have hand carved four poster mahogany beds, wrought iron and stone gas fireplaces. One room in Landoll's Mohican Castle is a three level room which includes its own 50 foot tower.

On a hill just below the castle is Legends Restaurant The restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors to the Loundonville Mohican Valley area. Behind the castle is an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. The center also has a hot tub and sauna.

The pool has a grotto behind a little waterfall, another of the touches that makes Landoll's Mohican Castle so unique and beautiful. Those who visit the castle can climb to the top of the tower for a beautiful view of the landscaped grounds surrounding the castle.

Landoll's is also a great place to have your wedding. The Wedding Terrace is an ideal location for romantic, outdoor wedding ceremonies. They can host any wedding size from a small gathering up to 300 guests.
