Review of 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass
Excuse Me, Who Do You Think You Are Calling Old?

When my '96 Ford Contour kicked the bucket a couple of months ago, I was devastated beyond belief. The only cars I would look at in my forced search for a new vehicle was another Contour. The cars I looked at were enough to make me sick. I really could not believe how much dealerships in my area were asking for these piece of sh*t cars, it was truly criminal. When I had almost given up hope and just bought the cheapest car that I had found so far, my father drove a champagne colored '98 Oldsmobile Cutlass out to my house for me to test drive. Who would have thought a 19 year old would fall in love with an Oldsmobile?Price and Features
I now consider myself a car thief. This car was ridiculously cheap considering the other vehicles I had looked at and the quality of this car. The dealer did not think I would like it because it was considered a "luxury car" and way too old for me. I do no think so. My car came with a built in CD player (that plays better than the one purchased separately for the Contour), power doors, power windows, reading lights (like the TVs in cars, I think these are pointless and if someone is using the reading lights while driving, I would want off the road), and one of those little key rings that lock/unlock your car and automatically opened the trunk. There had only been one previous owner who was a really old lady (my car smelled like a nursing home for a few months after I bought it) who had obviously taken really good care of the car. When I bought it, it only had one scratch, after one day in the parking lot at work; I had at least four new ones. Thank you Virginia Tech employees.
