Hair is of undeniable importance to women. That might account for the fact that hair styling now represents a multi billion-dollar industry, with an average salon bill quickly approaching $100. The right hair can make a woman feel like a queen. Likewise, the wrong hair can make her want to crawl under the nearest rock. Therefore, today's woman strives to remain on the cutting edge of current hair trends.

Luckily, it seems that 2007 is a year of possibilities. An "anything goes" attitude is appropriate not only in women's fashion, but also with their hair. Change, however, is definitely in the air for this Spring and Summer, no matter the length of a woman's crowning glory.

Today's woman is hip, but she is also very busy. Her hairstyle calls for an outstanding cut - - in just about any length - - with an easy care approach that still shows her impeccable sense of style. Whatever style ultimately chosen must be flexible, allowing the wearer to "change up" her look from time to time. Styles in 2007 won't just fit current trends, but will also fit the individual woman. It must be in tune with her personality, her look, and her lifestyle.

Strong, clean, healthy hair is a must for this year's hairstyles and well groomed is the order of the day even for those who prefer the more mussed-up look. There will be a lot less emphasis on chemical use like perming, relaxing or anything else that typically frys the hair. The movement is also away from daily washing because it dries out the hair and causes it to lose its natural shape. Instead, emphasis is on hair that has proper moisture and natural oil.
