If you are anything like me, you love coffee. I can't get through my day without at least one cup of coffee in the morning. When my husband bought me a Keurig Single Cup Coffee Maker, I was over the moon! Since he doesn't drink coffee, I needed a way to make myself a cup of coffee in the morning without wasting the rest of the pot.

Then, I found out that I could sample all sorts of flavors via the wonderful things called K-cups. Every other month, Craig buys me about 80 new K-cups. Some are the flavors that I have requested from earlier orders; others are brand new flavors that I have never tried before.

Tully's French Roast Extra Bold is a flavor that I ask for repeatedly. It is an intense cup of coffee, perfect for the mornings where I feel I just can't wake up. Like this morning, for example. It's a very European coffee, focusing more on the flavor of the bean and the way that it is roasted. There is a bit of a smoky flavor to this coffee, which is very nice.

Even if you aren't into bold coffees, you still might like this one. Personally, I usually don't go for the bold or extra bold coffees. I prefer the medium roasts. But, there is just something about this coffee that makes it different from all of the other extra bold roasts. It isn't as nutty as others. It's just a really powerful cup of coffee.

Unfortunately, the Keurig K-Cup Tully's French Roast Extra Bold Coffee only works in the Keurig one-cup coffee machines. You can only use the K-Cups once. Otherwise, it tastes like you are drinking a cup of coffee from a pot that was left out all morning. (Trust me-- I tried this when I only had one K-cup left.) But, since it's only $2.95 per 5 pack and $13.95 per 25 pack, coffee connoisseurs won't mind the price tag.

We have similar machines sweeping the market over here. I tried to talk Lars into springing for one of them... until I tasted a cup of coffee from one. Oh man.. that was so strong it gagged. me. He, having been born here, is used to strong coffee and loved it... then began the quest to talk him OUT of spending that much on the machine. HA!
