RuneScape Online Game Review
RuneScape is labeled as a massive online 3d multiplayer adventure game, with monsters to destroy, quests to complete, and much treasure to win. Membership dues are $5 a month but there is also a free play version available with limited features. There is a small amount of quests available while playing in free game mode while paying members have features and quests available to them. The game has approximately 8.5 million active accounts and is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's most popular free MMORPG. RuneScape has a tutorial mode in which characters are led on a set path where they learn the most basic skills. After the tutorial, players have access to tutors located in the towns they explore.
You control your own character who will improve and become more powerful the more you play. RuneScape's graphics have been improved with the introduction of RuneScape High Detail. The clicking to walk everywhere could get quite gets annoying, but soon you stop noticing after a while. RuneScape isn't a game for those who love magnificent graphics and sounds, but in my opinion that isn't what makes a game fun to play. RuneScape features a real-time online combat system. Combat is an important aspect of the game. It allows players to retrieve items like gold dropped by defeated enemies, creatures or other common players.
The best thing about RuneScape is that it's browser based so you don't have to do any downloading. especially when there's an update readily available. Skills make up another scope of RuneScape, but requires much needed time to level up as opposed to combat. As the skill level rises, the ability to retrieve better raw materials and produce better products increases, as does the experience awarded if the player utilizes these new abilities.
