In this guide, I will show you how to add neighbors, how to remove neighbors, how to send gifts to your neighbors, and more in FarmVille. You will need to login to your Facebook account to get started with this guide.
Loading Your FarmVille Game
You will need to load your FarmVille game in order to use this guide. You can load it by clicking the Applications button at the bottom of your page. Then you will need to click the FarmVille link in the menu that expands. That will load your game.
Viewing Your Neighbors Tab
You will now need to open your neighbors tab. To do this, click the Neighbors tab at the top of your game. In this section of the game, you will see all of the people who are playing FarmVille.
How to Add Someone As a Neighbor in FarmVille
First, we will take a look at how to add someone as your neighbor in FarmVille. The page you are on now will have a list of your friends that are playing FarmVille. Beside each friend, you will see the Add so and so as Neighbor button. Click that button next to the friend you want to add as a neighbor. A box will pop up and you will need to click the Send button to send the neighbor request to the friend. Your page will reload and you will see the wooden sign that says you have requested the person to be your friend. They will have to accept the request before they become your friend.
How to Remove Neighbors from Your FarmVille Game
If you have neighbors that you want to remove, you can. You will need to click the Neighbors tab to go back to your Neighbors section. In the section, look for the neighbor you want to remove. Beside the neighbor, you will see the Remove button. Click that button to remove the neighbor from your FarmVille game.

I am suppose to have 8 neighbors since adding a neighbor I now have 7. One neighbor is not on there and I can't get her backl this cheats me out of a neighbor and money!!!!! What happened. When I go to readd her her name is not on my add a friend list cause she is already suppose to be on there.

I have contacted Zygna regarding my pending farmville neighbors request that I am unable to remove because it prevents me from requesting neighbors who are on farmville or from accepting other's request to me to be their farmville neighbor. Zygna informed me that this is an issue they are currently working to resolve. I added all those requests when I was new and didn't know how the apps worked, now what I do for other apps is I go through my FB friends list and send the daily limit to join, once I do that I click on that game's friends list and it will show the actual friends you have as well as the pending requests you have, I look through the pending request and if one of the request I sent is for a friend who has a 0 score on the pending box then I assume they do not play that game so I remove the request and the next day replace it with another, in some of the other apps/games, if you have a pending request out there you can still go to their page in the apps for example in fish
