Here's a Fun Easter Craft Your Children Will Enjoy

Easter is coming. Here is a fun and simple Easter craft for kids to do. This will probably appeal mostly to young children, under eight years of age.

Easter is a great time for crafts. This is a fun craft because most children love the Easter bunny and they will enjoy wearing the bunny ears. This will encourage them to have their picture taken, they may feel especially giggly or silly. This is a great craft to do before an Easter egg hunt because the children can wear the bunny ears on the Easter egg hunt. Probably the children will want to wear the bunny ears for much longer than that. Children will need an adult's help because this craft involves measuring and stapling.

To make this craft you will need:

white construction paper or poster board

pink construction paper

tape

staples

markers

cotton ball

measuring tape

To make this craft begin by measuring your child's head at their forehead. This is where they will wear the bunny ears. Write down the measurement.

Then cut the length of your child's head out in white construction paper or posterboard. If the white construction paper is too short, staple two sheets together. Cut this strip about three or four inches thick.

Next cut out bunny ears. Size them to your child's size. So if your child is a tiny toddler, do not give them very large bunny ears. A good size for bunny ears would be about five or six inches. Once you have cut the bunny ears out, then cut out a smaller set of bunny ears in pink to go in the inside of the bunny ears. Tape these bunny ears on the inside of the bunny ears.

Staple the white construction paper band together and confirm that it fits your child. Make little pencil marks just before where your child's ears are. This is where the bunny ears will be stapled on. Take the white construction paper band off of your child's head and staple the bunny ears onto your child's white construction paper band.

Glue the white cotton ball behind your child's head, in the middle of the white construction paper band. This is the bunny's tail.

While this is a really cute craft idea, I must admit, the picture of the adorable bunny is what caused me to click and read! He's soooo cute! I have a rabbit as a pet, Rex the Funny Bunny, we call him. My son might like this craft for a fun project.
