Mushrooms are often mood elevating, creating a sense of euphoria for the user. Open and closed eyed visuals are common. Laughter and giddiness may also ensue. Users report a more easy flow of ideas which leads to creative and philosophical insights. Intense feelings of wonder enhance the user's sense of curiosity. One's general sense of consciousness is altered as well as his/her perception of time. Under certain circumstances, a life-changing spiritual experience is likely to occur.

Precautions: Some users experience an intense feeling of fear or anxiety, especially during the drug's onset. Individuals currently dealing with emotional or psychological upheavals should be cautious about taking this drug because such problems often become more pronounced and cause severe distress. This drug does have medical use, it has been proven time and again to treat obsessive compulsive disorder. It is also less toxic than aspirin. The only health risks it presents are when it is taken with alcohol or other drugs, and even then, it has not additional effects, only those presented by the secondary drug.
