We have known about some characters of servants from Alice's Adventures in the Wonderland, Pan's Labyrinth, and Mrs. Brown. All these kinds of servants were in the past society; in addition, there were not only some similarities among them, but also some differences among them.
The relationship between employers and employees had appeared since the old time, also, the relationship is continuing until today. By comparing with the relationship in the different situations, we can find out some changes of human society from past to now. In the old time, the relationship between employers and employees was extremely unfair.

By reading Alice's Adventure in Wonderland, we can see that the Rabbit appears in many plots of the story. Even though the Rabbit isn't introduced with so much background about it, we can still know about its probable position. The Rabbit usually hurries to do something or feels nervous because of the Queen or the Duchess; other hand, it usually commands others to do many things with a ferocious voice. Consequently, we can know that the Queen or the Duchess is the mistress of the Rabbit, and the Rabbit is the head of others. Others must listen to it without objections, which is the same as the Rabbit to the Queen or the Duchess. In the movie Pan's Labyrinth, Captain Vidal is at a highest position in every aspect, such as fighting wars, handling his family, and sending food. The soldiers, servants, his wife, and doctor must obey him. He has the biggest power to control everything. He is very serious at everyone; in addition, he is very cruel to somebody who fights against him or betrays him. In my opinion, he is very cold blooded to everyone except his son. As a result, some of his employees obey all his order whatever is wrong or correct; some scold him secretly or betray him.
