In this Photoshop tutorial I will show you how to create the Burgundy and Silver Gl
obe in my image. Please see the image that I have provided to see the ending results. This globe is very easy to make. You can also shrink this globe down to use it as an icon. I will write this tutorial in detail so that the new Photoshop users can create this globe too.

How to Create a Burgundy and Silver Globe Graphic in Photoshop

Step 1 - Create a New Canvas

Click File > New to create a new canvas. Create your canvas 150 pixels by 150 pixels. You can crop it at the end if you need too. Select the color background that you need. Then click the OK button.

Step 2 - Create a New Layer

Click the icon in the bottom of the Layers Panel that looks like a sheet of paper with the corner curled up. That will create a new layer. Press F7 on your keyboard if you do not see your layers panel.

Step 3 - Select Custom Shape Tool & Draw Shape

Click on your Shape Tool in your toolbar and hold it down until the menu drops down. Then click on Custom Shape Tool. Go to the top of your window and drop the Shape box down. Click the arrow on the right side and click Web from the drop down menu. The web shapes will load in the shape window. Double click on the globe shape. Then draw your globe on your canvas. You can draw it any size that you want.

Step 4 - Rasterize and Apply Effects

Right click on your Shape Layer and click Rasterize Layer from the pop up menu. Rasterizing the layer will make the edges of the globe smooth. Next, you will apply the effects to the globe. Right click on that layer again and click Blending Options from the pop up menu. Apply the following effects to the globe.
