Sanjaya Malakar's Pony Hawk Saves Him for the Next Round of American Idol
Sanjaya Malakar has done it again. He has won the hearts of young girls nation-wide. Even with his "pony-hawk" hairdo, Sanjaya, has won another chance to rock his talents on American Idol.
Ryan Seacrest opened up the show with his look-alike pony hawk as well telling the audience he had been "Sanjayaed." Even the pony hawk seemed to take center stage over performers: Chris Sligh, Phil Stacey, and Haley Scarnato, who found themselves in the bottom three of Wednesday's (March 28th) show
.
America keeps on wondering how this young seventeen year old keeps on winning the hearts of the voters. Perhaps it's his young boyish charm or his sweet innocence? Or is everybody still recovering from his performance of "You Really Got Me," when the young little girl was on camera crying her eyes out at just the sight of sweet Sanjaya? Whatever it is, the luck keeps on rolling in for this year's contestant. But even after singing the song "Bathwater," it didn't even seem to be quite a splash in the tub. However, his pony-hawk has seemed to get Sanjaya on board.
Sanjaya will keep America right on guessing and perhaps the fingers of the young teenie-boppers will keep on dialing. Their love seems to have gotten all of them a case of "Sanjaya Fever." What kind of hairstyle or stunt will Sanjaya pull in next week's show? Will there be more young girls crying over his baby face and eyes? Or will he rock it out once again in attempt to impress the judges? in Tuesday (March 27th) show, Simon has already told him that " You are in your own little universe. It doesn't seem to matter what you do Sanjya. So Good Luck to you...."
Simon's comments don't seem to get to Sanjaya. He actually seems quite pleased with his past performances. Even when Simon commented about his pony-hawk hair due, telling him he forgot to look in the mirror, Sanjaya stated back that he was just mad that he couldn't pull it off himself. Simon stated, " You're right--I can't!'
