lidays, so you might want to make a reservation. The Oregon Coast is always a great place to visit!!
Beverly Beach State Park - located just a short distance from the beach and approximately 1 mile north of Newport, Oregon. You will find the registration booth near the Visitors Information Center, the children's playground and a picnic area as well. The camping area has 53 RV hook-ups and areas for tents. South Beach State Park - located about 2 miles south of Newport, with activities available that include: beachcombing, boating, crabbing, and windsurfing. The campground areas have one group meeting hall (that can be reserved), 228 electrical hook-up sites, 27 rustic cabins, group tent areas, hiker/biker camp. Beachside State Recreational Site - located 4 miles south of Walport, Oregon. This park's campground area is just seconds away from the beach. If you're a storm watcher this would be the place to get some great views. The campground area has 32 electrical sites, 42 tents sites, and 2 reservable hiker/biker areas. Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park - located approximately 14 miles north of Florence. This campground is not real close to the beach, there are several trails you can take to reach the sand but there are some great wildlife viewing areas along the way. Plus one trail leads to the Heceta Head Lighthouse, which is one place you won't want to miss.
The camp sites are large and spacious. All camp sites are on a first come, first serve basis. There are 56 full hook-ups, 2 electrical, 2 yurts, 7 walk-in tents, and a hiker/biker camp area. This state park is great for bird watching, picnicking, wildlife watching, historic sites, and fishing.
