Honestly and trust are paramount in a relationship. If you have recently started catching your significant other in lies, chances are they are lying to hide something. This is especially true for a person who has otherwise been honest with you and trustworthy in the past.
If a spouse that has previously gone to work and come straight home suddenly begins to work late or make detours on the way home, there's a possibility that he's not working late alone and the detours are probably not at the local grocery store.
A man or woman that isn't one to go shopping for clothes often who suddenly begins buying new clothes and worrying about how they are looking isn't shopping or dressing nicer or differently for the birds to look at him or her. Chances are they have someone they are interested in making an impression on.
If you start getting phone calls where the caller hangs up when you answer, it could be because the caller wasn't expecting you to be the one to answer the phone. If your spouse is taking calls in another room, where previously this wasn't the norm, it could lead you to ask yourself what they are trying to hide by not wanting you to hear the conversation.
When you and your other half have always went out as a couple together, and lately he or she wants to go out alone, chances are they are not going to be alone at all. While needing time to ourselves is normal and needed, it's a sign to look for when it's not been going on like this before.
If your man comes in smelling like he's bathed in a perfume bottle or with that tale telling sign of lipstick on the collar, it's not likely that he's been sampling perfumes or having the store clerk kiss his collar so he can sample the colors.
