THE STORY

Per an Atlanta undercover police officer, at 5:00 pm James Westbrook entered the men's restroom at Hartsfield-Jackson airport which is nearest to the main terminal's baggage claim. This section of the airport is considered of the busiest, as it is situated next to the escalators where dozens of people await the arriving passengers coming up the escalators.

Westbrook is said to have turned toward the undercover officer, and exposed himself while standing at one of the restroom urinals. The officer's report states:

"[Westbrook] turned to me and exposed himself. He began to fondle himself."

Per the report, Westbrook then exited the bathroom and moved over to a Delta Airlines kiosk. The officer further notes that at no time did Westbrook attempt to obscure what he was doing. At that point, 48 year-old Delta employee, James Edward Westbrook was placed under arrest for public indecency.

According to a Delta spokesperson, Westbrook has been suspended without pay, but could possibly be terminated depending upon the outcome of the litigation.

You know, as I keep reading about all these arrests at Hartsfield-Jackson airport, it's dawned on me just how rampant this behavior must really be nationwide. Officials at the airport have only been catching these people because they were investigating stolen luggage. Amazing!

I agree. Pretty Disturbing.

Disturbing. This is the exact reason that I do not let my 8 year old son go in public restrooms alone. If his father is not with us then I take him in the ladies room with me. Women are very understanding as they are usually moms/grandmothers/aunties themselves.
