Everyone is an inventor. I think my husband alone has created an infinite number of things he swears the world can not live without. But what really happens to all those ideas? Not everyone simply sits around thinking up ideas, never acting on them. After a little research I was able to find what happened to the most impossible dreams. Welcome to the list of the worst patents ever!

PATENT # 5107620 - The Electrified Table Cloth

Work with me on this one. You have to imagine you are sitting in a park, having a great time when WHAM! You are attacked by ants trying to steal your lunch. The tuna salad sandwiches are crawling away and the noodle salad is over run with six-legged creatures. What could you possibly do to stop this? Give them the electric chair, or electric table cloth in this case. The Electric Table cloth was invented to prevent crawling bugs and insects from gaining access to a person's food and drink. If you do not like the patterns on the table clothes, you can by the electric strips and adhere them to any table cloth you already have.

PATENT # 7062320 - Device for the treatment of Hiccups

You toddler has been making that annoying, "HEEEEYYYUUUPPPP!" sound for two whole minutes now and you can not take it any longer. Why has there never been a treatment created for hiccups? Well now there has been. The device for the treatment of hiccups is a glass you offer to the hiccuping offender filled with water. When they take a drink for the glass, SMACK, it send a shock into the person's body. Now that is what I call a fun prank!

PATENT # 6360693 - Animal Toy

For the longest time I have wondered what I could do with my pet that was fun. I mean it is inevitable that we play, but there has to be a real toy for us to enjoy together. Thankfully in 1999, a happy inventor thought up the perfect fix. The Synthetic Stick. I feel like such an idiot, I could have thought this one up and made a mint! (Giggle, giggle)

PATENTS # 5443036, 6505576, 6557495, 6651591, and 6711872 - Pet Exerciser
