This company earns revenues from selling advertising on there web site. This allows them to maintain and update any new listings or opportunities that might arise that would interest the viewer. As are most companies College Pursue is looking towards new growth opportunities that would allow them to offer more opportunities and information for the prospective student.
College Pursue was started in 2004 by former MTSU graduate and student athlete Omar Ali. It was started up with an incremental start up fee of only $5,000 in that year. Omar has spent $15,000 on new marketing and website improvements that allow him to do the things that he is doing with the site. College pursue has made a total revenue of $16,980 to this date. College Pursue averages over 20 million hits, with each visitor averaging one-hour on this site (Collegepursue.com).
College Pursue offers many products and services on this site. With this site a prospective student can use a salary search tool which allows a student to get a complete break down of potential jobs that correlate with a major of any kind. This site also offers a tuition planner that helps a student plan for funding there education. College Pursue gives constant updates and articles about colleges in the U.S.A., as well as links and listings of every school in the country as well as there athletic site. This site also offers the user an opportunity to talk to others in there position by offering chat rooms and forums that allow them to speak to others that are making these same decisions about college and those students already in college at perspective schools.
