I love making my own vintage Fabric wrapping paper. It is a fun and simple project that can really finish a nice gift perfectly. I love all things vintage, so creating vintage Fabric inspire wrapping paper is just so fun and easy.

To Make You Own Vintage Fabric Inspired Wrapping Paper You Will Need:

Roll of brown craft paper or white paper

Sponges

Paint

Stencils

Vintage Fabric

Ribbon

Now, when making your vintage Fabric wrapping paper you have a couple choices you can make.

Go ahead and roll out your vintage fabric. Lay your sheet of acetate on top. Use your black sharpie marker to trace out your pattern on the acetate.

Now, use an exacto knife to cut out your vintage fabric stencil pattern.

So, I cannot not tell you what to draw, paint, or stencil your own vintage Fabric wrapping paper, but what I can do is give you a few ideas that are great starting points.

Paint Color

Try using milk paint that you make rather thick to stencil with. Milk paint has an awesome vintage look when it dries. You can mix and match colors to recreate the same colors in your vintage fabric.

Best of all it will stick to anything and can even work as a primer. This is a super quick way to make vintage Fabric wrapping paper.

So, lay your fabric stencil out on some paper. You can buy large rolls of craft paper in any color at almost any art store. Tape the edges of your stencil down and start working away.

As you finish one part of the wrapping paper you can remove your fabric stencil and move onto another area.

You can even use the same stencil, but different vintage milk paint colors to create lots of different looking wrapping paper with a vintage look.

Let your paper dry, then roll it back up. This is the best way to store vintage wrapping paper so that it does not become damaged before you can use it.
